We have added a new route-based Trip Planner to Schengen Stay Calculator.
The planner lets you build a Schengen trip city by city before sending the route to the 90/180 calculator. Instead of entering only one country and one date range, you can add multiple stops, adjust the number of Schengen stay days for each city, and preview the route on a map.
What the new Trip Planner does
With the new route builder, you can add cities in the order you plan to visit them, choose the number of Schengen stay days for each stop, preview the route on a map, change the transport mode between stops, and send the complete route to the Schengen 90/180 calculator.
The planner uses Schengen stay days, not hotel nights. This is important because both the day you enter and the day you leave the Schengen Area count as stay days.
Why this matters
Many Schengen trips are not simple one-country stays. You may plan to visit several cities or countries in one continuous trip. The route builder helps you organize that trip visually before checking the rolling 90/180-day impact in the calculator.
What happens after you send the route to the calculator?
When you send the route to the calculator, it is treated as one planned Schengen stay using your selected entry date, exit date and countries. The calculator then checks the trip against your previous and planned stays under the rolling 90/180-day rule.
The map is a planning workspace. The final stay-day calculation still happens in the main Schengen calculator.
